About Us

Where Legacy Thrives

Welcome to Heritage Heights, where innovation, community, and legacy converge into a total solutions provider, specifically focused on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our mission is to partner with HBCU institutions to assist in the creation of Public-Private Partnerships (P3s) to meet the immediate needs for quality, affordable housing but also contribute to the broader educational and economic ecosystems of these vital institutions.

A different approach

The Heritage team brings a broad range of experience collaborating with public-private partnerships and understand how to navigate those complex situations balancing the unique missions and values of HBCUs.

A Letter From Our Founder

We understand the opportunity unlike others. For decades, despite having fewer resources, HBCU students have excelled to heights at one time unimaginable. Representing only 3% of colleges and universities, HBCU’s play an outsized societal role producing 40% of all Black engineers, 50% of all Black teachers, 70% of all Black doctors and dentists and 80% percent of all Black judges.

Our dedication goes beyond bricks and mortar. Heritage Heights brings a holistic approach to partnerships, leveraging the best of public and private resources. Our aim is to not only enhance the student experience but also to integrate with the surrounding communities to foster environments where students, faculty, and the local economies flourish together.

Reflecting back on my own college experience, what would happen if HBCU students had better, or simply more housing options? More sophisticated research facilities? More areas for student collaboration? Or simply closer hospitality options for visiting parents, faculty and alumni… or recruiters.

Heritage Heights is more than an investor; we are an ally of progress, a champion of diversity, and a believer in the transformative power of education. We are a product of the HBCU network; We are a partner.

Join us as we embark on this journey together to elevate the physical spaces of HBCUs, enhancing where students can live, learn, and lead with excellence.
